Rushyendra Maganty (Rushi)

I am a Software Engineer at Duolingo, where I build pipelines that use LLMs to scale language learning to more courses. In the past, I've helped build services to serve learning content and keep track of user progress for tens of millions of active users on the app.

Before Duolingo, I was an undergrad at Yale University, where I majored in Philosophy and Computer Science (the latter slightly more employable). Lots of hours were also spent working in our Formula SAE team's garage.

I spent my summers at college interning at Samsara, Open Robotics, and contributing to Godot, the open-source game engine. In an even earlier incarnation, I served my mandatory military service in the Singapore Army.

I currently live in Pittsburgh, PA, but was born in a small town in southern India and grew up in Singapore.
